Dad owned the corner just accross from the old main gate of the air force base and I used to work for him in high school pumping gas. The small buidling was on the corner and it was torn down and the new place was build and took the whole corner. He eventually had the Fairborn location and two in Dayton. Then he eventually closed it and sold the land in Fairborn to Rax Roast Beef...not sure what is there now. It was the corner right next to the Fairborn Theatre...think it was Broad and Dayton. Not sure what is there now as we lived in columbus for years and now in Orange Cty, CA for past 13. Dad still lives in Fairborn (82 years old) and I am still best friends with Mac McClernon's son Mike who live in Houston. I will find some others as I have some when Dad was Deputy Mayor and Mac was Mayor.
